About me :
I was born in Italy in 1980 and I'm a self taught artist & designer currently living in Italy and in Russian Federation. My biggest passion is concept art though I also love to work on illustration and graphic design projects. I have a scientific formation and a background as programmer in various languages, so it was a natural choice to mix design & programming from time to time -- especially in the fields of web design and video games.
I'm also active in the photography field & I'm currently working on a new project that will eventually develop into a double exhibition with some dates in Italy & Russia.
My second passion (the first one being visual arts) is guitar playing -- I actually started studying guitar many years before I got into illustration.
What I use :
I work on Windows 7 and Ubuntu machines and my favorite software are Painter, Gimp, Inkscape, ArtRage, SketchUp, Octane Render, Blender, Xara Xtreme, though I've working experience with other packages (3DS Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
